  May not have eaten here, but for the advice from our hotel, who said that the chef was top notch. The service was typical of the best in country Australia, especially the girl who took our order. My son had nuggets and chips and he loved it. I had a burger and pint special, and it was delish. Menu looks like it has had some thought put into it. Recommended!

  Christmas lunch with staff, except for brioche alders everyone was happy with food. Service was good, prices OK.

  Recently renovated giving it a city vibe. Pricing reflects the look but not the clientele. Loss of character and charm with the upgrades.

  Reasonable value meals. Quite reasonable quality too. Rump was a bit too lean, but my colleague's marbled rib fillet looked good enough to steal off his plate. Colleague was the owner of the company I work for, so proprietary behaviour won out. Decor was homely and the lovely lady serving us was exremely pleasant. No Coke Zero available was a minus; as was having to walk to the bar to get our drinks. The overall decor and staff attitude made me want to dab my mouth with a napkin post meal, and spend the entirety of the evening with a few mates and more than a few beverages.
